Invite someone

Administrators invite people from Users.

  1. Choose Add new.
  2. Enter their email address.
  3. Choose a role. See Roles and permissions.
  4. Optionally add a reason, enter your authenticator code, and choose Send invitation.

A new person gets an email with a one-time link to set a password and an authenticator. Someone who already has an account is simply added, and sees the invitation on their Invitations page, where they can Accept or Decline.

Statuses

  • Active: signed in and set up.
  • Set-up pending: invited, but two-step verification is not set up yet.
  • Disabled: access switched off.

More than one business

If you belong to several businesses, choose one after signing in, and switch from the menu under your name. Add a business in the same menu starts setup for another one.

Roles and permissions

What each role can do, and who can submit to HMRC.
